View west at sunset from Dead Horse Point State Park
View east to Dead Horse Point from Canyonlands National Park with Shafer Trail (road) spanning the desert floor below.
That's the same road as on the left edge of photo. It winds down the cliffs behind me as seen in the next photo.
This is the Shafer Trail where it begins a 100+ mile loop around the park, a very popular loop for bicyclist and jeep lovers.

One of my favorite trails is the Alcove Spring trail where I took this photo and the one below.
You can tell you're in a national park when the wildlife show little concern for the presence of humans.
This was made by ancestral pueblos hundred of years ago to store food on Aztec Butte in Canyonlands National Park. 5/31/06
